Book Review: 1Q84

It took me several months to finally get myself seated and read this book all day. I was intrigued to buy this book from its thickness and fancy cover, lol. I didn't really get what this book is all about, I didn't even comprehend the synopsis well. Until I didn't have any movies to watch and my internet speed was so depressing for not even able to download anything, I started to read this novel again.

Word which best describe this novel is; romantic. I love how Haruki Murakami's big ideas about creating such out of the box hardships just to encounter two people who once fell deeply in love by merely a random holding hands. He is indeed a genius in describing every little thing meticulously, every tiny details about how could such event is worth to be remembered for a lifetime. How could simple thing made two people fell in love and unable to move on. And on how this romantic memories should find its way again through such fictional world, and indirectly being trapped in a completely different world which can't be seen by just anyone.

Hmmm, this thick novel left you a kind of impression which can't be easily forgotten. It makes you contemplate about everything you've been doing. whether you treat your parents right, whether holding a grudge toward a person who hurt you the most is considered okay for some period but tehre will come a time when it is too tiring and all you want to do is to call a truce. abundants of quotes are written in almost every pages. At last, Murakami never fails in intriguing me to read another masterpieces of his.
